\"\"<\/a>G\u00fcnthers Interesse f\u00fcr die Marke Mitsubishi geht zur\u00fcck bis ins Jahr 1979. In diesem Jahr kaufte er einen nagelneuen Mitsubishi Sapporo 2.0l GS7R mit 98PS, den er bis zu seinem Totalschaden 1986 mit gro\u00dfer Begeisterung fuhr.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Der n\u00e4chste Mitsubishi, der sein Interesse weckte war im Juni 89 ein 6 Jahre alter Starion mit 170PS. Auch dieses Auto wusste G\u00fcnther derart zu begeistern, dass er 1996 nach einer Steigerung Ausschau hielt. Bei einem H\u00e4ndler auf den Land fand er genau diesen 89er Starion 2,6l Widebody mit 155PS mit 3 Vorbesitzern. Daf\u00fcr gab er seinen 2,0l Inzahlung und handelte mit dem H\u00e4ndler einen annehmbaren Preis aus.<\/p>\n

Ein Auto wie den Starion zu erhalten gestaltet sich sehr schwer. Man ist angewiesen auf eine gro\u00dfe funktionierende Community um die Teileversorgung zu sichern, aber da G\u00fcnther so verliebt in dieses Auto ist hat er finanziell und emotional schon so Einiges durchgestanden. Unter anderem hatte er 2005 einen Unfall mit Heckschaden, der ihn \u00fcber eine anderes Auto als Daily-Driver nachdenken liess.<\/p>\n

So besorgte er sich f\u00fcr den Alltag eine Hyundai Coupe GK und liess den Starion wieder reparieren, da er es nicht \u00fcbers Herz brachte ihn zu ver\u00e4ussern. In den letzten 24 Jahren, in denen er den roten Renner besitzt, hat er bereits zweimal den Motor wegen eines Risses im Zylinderkopf getauscht. Immer wieder gab es R\u00fcckschl\u00e4ge, durch defekte Bauteile und die schwierige Ersatzteilbeschaffung.<\/p>\n

An dieser Stelle geht ein gro\u00dfer Dank an alle Mitsubishi Freunde und Bekannte, die geholfen dieses Auto weiterhin am Laufen zu halten. \"\"<\/a>Front:<\/strong><\/span> Bei sportlichen Fahrzeugen in den 80ern waren Klappscheinwerfer State of Art.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Motor:<\/strong><\/span> 2,6l Vierzylinder mit Turbolader und Ladeluftk\u00fchler sorgen mit 155 PS f\u00fcr ordentlich Vortrieb.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Die Widebody-Karosserie mit ausgestellten Radh\u00e4usern und dreiteiligen Spoilern vorn und hinten wirkt deutlich aggressiver als die der 2,0l Version.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Interieur:<\/strong><\/span> Der Innenraum ist, wie bei Japanern aus der Zeit \u00fcblich betont sachlich, aber sehr \u00fcppig ausgestattet: Ledersportlenkrad, Sportsitze und reichlich Instrumente sorgen f\u00fcr sportliches Ambiente.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Felgen & Fahrwerk:<\/strong><\/span> Die Starion Leichtmetallfelgen sind vorn 7zoll, hinten 8zoll breit bereift in der Dimension 205\/55 VR16 und 225\/50 VR16.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Heck:<\/strong><\/span> Dreiteiliger Spoiler und die massige Sto\u00dfstange sorgen f\u00fcr einen bulligen Auftritt auch von hinten.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Laut KBA sind in Deutschland von den Widebodys nur noch 29 St\u00fcck zugelassen.<\/p>\n
