\"\"<\/a>Manchmal muass man einfach Gl\u00fcck haben, nur so l\u00e4sst sich am besten die Geschichte ausdr\u00fccken, die Detlef mit diesem Auto passierte! 2019 bekam er den Tipp eines Bekannten, dass in D\u00fcsseldorf in der N\u00e4he der Classic Remise ein gut erhaltener Ford Taunus MK2 in einer Garage seit vielen Jahren schlummern w\u00fcrde.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Eine solche Gelegenheit l\u00e4sst sich ein passionierter Ford Verr\u00fcckter nicht einfach so verstreichen und so machten sich Detlef und sein Kumpel Jens auf nach D\u00fcsseldorf um diesen Tipp nachzugehen. Was sie dort vorfanden war beeindruckend. Trotz der langen Standzeit sprang der V6-Motor sofort an und lief nach nur ein paar Minuten seidenweich. Er tat also genau das was man von einem Ford V6-Motor erwartete.<\/p>\n

Jens und Detlef einigten sich mit dem Verk\u00e4ufer auf einen sehr guten Preis und luden dann den Wagen auf um zuhause eine ausf\u00fchrliche Durchsicht folgen zu lassen. Alles in allem waren fast nur Kleinigkeiten zu erledigen um das Auto wieder auf die Strasse zu bringen. Nennenswerter Rost war nicht zu finden, einzig die Lackierung war so in Mitleidenschaft gezogen, dass Detlef sich f\u00fcr eine komplette Neulackierung in stratossilber entschied.<\/p>\n

Nach nur ein paar Tagen Arbeit war das Auto wieder vorzeigbar und bereit f\u00fcr die Strasse.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Front:<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0Wei\u00dfe Blinker und gelbe Scheinwerfer an der gegen\u00fcber zum Knudsen-Taunus deutlich moderneren Front des MK2.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Der Lack liess sich nicht mehr zufriedenstellend herstellen, deswegen wurde das Auto in der Ford Originalfarbe stratossilber neu lackiert.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Detlef wird seine „Taune“ auch h\u00e4ufig im Alltag einsetzen, deswegen r\u00fcstete er Lokari Innenkotfl\u00fcgel nach.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Motor:<\/strong><\/span> Am Motor musste nichts gemacht werden, bis auf den Edelbrock-Luftfilter blieb er unver\u00e4ndert.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Felgen und Fahrwerk:<\/strong><\/span> 40er H+R Tieferlegungsfedern und die Felgen der S-Version sorgen f\u00fcr einen sportlichen Auftritt.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Interieur:<\/strong><\/span> Die t\u00fcrkisblaue GL-Ausstattung war sehr gut erhalten und bleibt original.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Am Heck wurde der Bereich zwischen den Heckleuchten schwarz lackiert um auch hier ein sportliche Optik zu erzeugen.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Der 2.0l V6-Motor leistet 90 PS und hat damit gen\u00fcgend Leistung und dabei vor allem Laufruhe.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Das war der erste Blick auf den Taunus nach \u00fcber 20 Jahren Dornr\u00f6schenschlaf. Der Zustand war weitaus besser, als es zuerst den Anschein hatte.<\/p>\n
