Hei\u00dfe Pleuel hei\u00dft Tuning bis zum Abwinken!<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Viele junge Amerikaner fingen schon Anfang der 40er Jahre aus Geldmangel damit an, ihre Autos selbst zu bauen. Dazu nahmen sie Autos, die billig verf\u00fcgbar waren. Das waren die millionenfach gebauten Ford-Typen der A- und T-Modelle in teils er sehr schlechten Zust\u00e4nden. Diese wurden in zahlreichen Hinterh\u00f6fen wieder ordentlich aufgem\u00f6belt und vor allem schneller gemacht.<\/p>\n<p>Power hatten diese Fahrzeuge nicht wirklich viel, soda\u00df man sich auf die Suche nach dem &#8222;<em>Deuce<\/em>&#8220; machte, den Modellen ab Baujahr 1932. Mit einem Achtzylinder machten Leistungssteigerungen auch Sinn. Ein general\u00fcberholter V8-Austauschmotor mit 3,6L Hubraum und 65 PS kostete gerade mal 277 Dollar. Eine gute Basis f\u00fcr damalige Verh\u00e4ltnisse.<\/p>\n<p>Um die Autos schneller zu machen wurden nicht nur die Motoren modifiziert, sondern auch die Karrosserie umgebaut. Dazu aber mehr im 2.
